Thiruvananthapuram: “Bramayugam” is a highly anticipated film among film enthusiasts. Directed by Rahul Sadasivan, this film features Mammootty in a never seen before avatar. Initially, social media buzzed with news suggesting that the film was completed on a modest budget of just Rs 2 crore because it was shot in a black-and-white format. However, the production team gave a replay on social media to provide clarification on this speculation.
Chakravarthy Ramachandra, one of the producers of the film “Bramayugam”, disclosed the actual budget, stating that it amounts to Rs 27.73 crore, apart from publicity expenses. This disclosure came after a picture posted on X, where Chakravarthy commented under the post on the total expenditure.

Scheduled for release on February 15, “Bramayugam” is a film that is set to hit theatres in five languages: Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
The film boasts a talented crew, with Shehnad Jalal handling cinematography, Shafique Mohammed Ali in charge of editing, Christo Xavier composing the music, Jayadevan Chakkadath overseeing sound design, MR Rajakrishnan managing sound mixing, Ronex Xavier responsible for makeup, and Melwy J as the costume designer.
