Thiruvananthapuram: Sushin Shyam, a prominent figure in Malayalam cinema’s music industry, has emerged as one of the most talked-about music directors in recent times. However, before gaining recognition for his musical talents, Sushin had appeared as an actor in Nivin Pauly’s film ‘Thattathin Marayathu’, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan . Despite his limited screen time, Sushin’s portrayal left a lasting impression on viewers.
Saying about how he appeared in the film, Sushin mentioned that Vineeth Srinivasan was present during the recording of ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ movie. During their meeting, Vineeth Sreenivasan mentioned that there was a character in a scene to shoot and asked if Sushin could do that character. This led to Sushin’s involvement in the movie. Sushin said that Ganesh Raj, the director of ‘Anandam’, dubbed for him in the scene. Even after being part of many films as a music director and composed many hit songs, there are people who still remember him from the way the scene was done in ‘Thattathin Marayathu’.
Recalling the past, Sushin admitted to thoroughly enjoying the acting experience despite initial nervousness. He mentioned that many directors have approached him by phone for various characters. However, he stated that he no longer desires to pursue acting because he is afraid of facing the camera.
