Earlier today, Warner Bros. and DC Studios dropped the final trailer for their new film, The Flash. The trailer showcases the premises of the film and what the audience can expect from the film, which is slated to release in theatres on June 16. The trailer was highly appreciated by the viewers eagerly waiting for the film.
The film marks the first standalone feature film for the superhero character Flash, played by Ezra Miller. The movie is also set to be the return of actors Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as their respective Batmans.
The film has also included various elements of the DC comic Flashpoint, published in 2011.
The film, directed by Andy Muschietti, who previously made popular films like ‘IT’ and ‘IT Chapter Two,’ said that even though the film incorporates several aspects of the comic book storyline, his film is more suspenseful and delivers a more emotional experience.
Actor-producer Tom Cruise watched an early screening of the film in late February and was so impressed by it that he called the director and said that the film is “everything you want in a movie” and “this is the kind of movie we need now”.
Filmmaker and co-CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn, also mentioned the movie as “one of the greatest superhero movies I’ve ever seen.”
