Mumbai: Actor Dhanush and director Aanand L Rai are set to collaborate once again for their upcoming project, following their successful films “Raanjhanaa” and “Atrangi Re.”
In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of “Raanjhanaa,” Aanand L Rai and Dhanush are preparing for a special collaboration on a love story, titled “Tere Ishk Mein” with an action-packed backdrop. The script has been in development for some time, and Aanand L Rai is now ready to begin filming the project early next year.
According to a source close to the development, both the actor and director have had multiple meetings in recent months and have recently finalised their agreements.
The teaser video showcases the actor in a fierce and intense portrayal. Dressed in an aggressive avatar, he is seen smoking a bidi and sprinting with a Molotov cocktail that he hurls against a wall. The wall prominently displays the words “from the world of Raanjhanaa,” followed by a captivating text unveiling the title of the film.
Renowned musician AR Rahman has been roped in to compose the music for Aanand L Rai and Dhanush’s upcoming film, marking their collaboration once again after their previous successful ventures, with lyrics being penned by Irshad Kamil.
Adding to the talented team, action director Sham Kaushal, father of actor Vicky Kaushal, will be responsible for the film’s gripping action sequences. The film’s cast and precise release date are yet to be unveiled by the makers, leaving fans eagerly anticipating further announcements. The story & screenplay is written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, with Himanshu Sharma producing the film under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions.
The filming of “Tere Ishk Mein” is set to begin early next year. Meanwhile, Dhanush is currently filming for his Tamil action film “Captain Miller,” directed by Arun Matheshwaran.
