Mumbai: After much anticipation, the makers of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film “Jawan” have finally released the trailer, which they have dubbed the “prevue.” The trailer has piqued the interest of fans with its intriguing content. This movie marks Shah Rukh Khan’s second project following the tremendous success of “Pathaan.” Directed by Atlee, “Jawan” was initially slated for release on June 2 but was later rescheduled for a September 7 premiere.
Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” features actress Nayanthara alongside him, marking her debut Hindi feature, and is written and directed by Atlee. In a tweet, SRK had previously announced that the prevue of “Jawan” would be launched on July 10, 2023, at 10:30 am As promised, the trailer has now been unveiled.
The trailer showcases Shah Rukh Khan uttering the lines, “Who am I? Who am I not? I don’t know. Whether I fulfil my promises to my mother or if I have an incomplete intention Whether I am good, bad, virtuous, or sinful, I need to ask myself these questions because I am also you.” The trailer also includes intense action sequences featuring SRK as well as intriguing looks donned by the actor. Nayanthara makes a brief appearance, and there’s a glimpse of Deepika Padukone performing an action scene in a red saree amidst the rain.
Towards the end of the trailer, Shah Rukh Khan is seen sporting a bald look. The video is filled with action-packed sequences, promising an exciting cinematic experience.
The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani, in addition to Shah Rukh Khan. It is expected to be a commercial entertainment, with Shah Rukh Khan playing both an intelligence officer and a robber. Anirudh Ravichander composes the film’s music, which marks his solo debut as a composer in Bollywood. T-Series has bought the film’s soundtrack rights. In addition, Deepika Padukone joined the cast in August 2022 and filmed a cameo appearance in Chennai.
The movie was filmed across various locations, including Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad. Anirudh Ravichander was selected as the composer for the film, making his debut as a solo composer in Bollywood.
