Though the exact transfer fee remains undisclosed, reports speculate that the deal could surpass a staggering 100 million pounds ($110 million). If these estimates are accurate, this figure would establish a new Bundesliga record, surpassing the 80 million euros paid for Lucas Hernandez’s transfer from Atletico Madrid in 2019.
In a statement, Bayern Munich declared, “Bayern have completed the signing of Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur. The prolific English striker has inked a contract valid until June 30, 2027. He will proudly don the number nine jersey.”
Kane’s football journey began at Tottenham’s academy when he was just 11 years old. His senior debut followed in 2011, marking the commencement of a storied career that saw him become a talismanic figure for the north London club. Throughout his tenure, Kane’s loyalty to Spurs remained unwavering, despite loan spells at clubs like Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City, and Leicester City.
Harry Kane conveyed his deep emotions and sentiments towards the loyal Tottenham fans by choosing the platform of ‘X’ ,formally known as Twitter, to express his heartfelt gratitude and farewell message.
Hard to put into words how to say goodbye to a club and fans who have done so much for me in my career. You will always be in my heart. Thank you Tottenham, thank you Tottenham fans. 💙 pic.twitter.com/L662cyax7p

Kane’s on-field prowess is undeniable, evident in his remarkable club record of 280 goals across more than 430 appearances for Tottenham across various competitions. On the international stage, he has netted 58 times in 84 matches, cementing his legacy as England’s all-time leading goal scorer.
Within the Premier League, Kane ranks second on the all-time scoring chart, boasting an impressive 213 goals, trailing only 47 behind the record set by Alan Shearer.
While Kane’s time at Tottenham did not culminate in ending the club’s 15-year trophy drought, his contributions were invaluable. Notably, he played a pivotal role in Tottenham’s journey to the 2019 Champions League final. Additionally, his accolades include runner-up finishes in the League Cup in both 2015 and 2021.
