Kozhikkode: Gold worth 26 lakhs seized was from a family travelling from Dubai at the Kozhikkode Airport on Tuesday. The Air Intelligence Unit seized around 599 grams of Gold foils valued approx. at 26 lakhs.
“Calicut AIU batch B seized 599 grams of gold foils worth 26 lakh from a family arrived from Dubai by Spice jet flight SG 141. Gold foils were concealed in the checked in baggage and were pasted on the corrugated cardboard sheets of bedsheets sets”, tweeted the Commissionerate Of Customs (Preventive) Cochin, sharing the information.
