Actor Vikram sustained a rib injury while doing the rehearsals for his next movie, Thangaalan. Vikram tweeted that he will not be joining the shoot for a while and promised to return soon.
Thangaalan is the next directorial venture of Director Pa Ranjith after his movie, Natchathiram Nagargiradhu. Thangaalan is a period film which is set in the background of Kolar Gold Fields. Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan are playing the female leads in it.
The screenplay is written by Tamizh Prabha and Pa Ranjith, dialogues by Azhagiya Periyavan and cinematography by Kishore Kumar. The movie is produced by Neelam productions in association with Studio Green.
