Kasaragod: Kerala opposition leader VD Satheesan called out the Kerala Government over the Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON) deal, alleging that a scam of Rs. 520 Cr was executed under it, media reports.
According to reports, VD Satheesan said that he will provide more information regarding this in the following days. This allegation came after a few days of him remarking the connection of CM Pinarayi Vijayan in the AI-camera scam, pointing out the connection of SRIT having links to both the deals. SRIT had won the contract from Keltron in the AI-camera deal.
KFON project was launched in 2019, aiming to provide free internet to economically backward households and some government offices.
