Bengaluru: JD(S) party national chief and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda said that he will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament.
He also informed that he is attending the function because of his commitment towards the Constitution.
“Prime MInister Narendra Modi invited me to the inaugural function of the new Parliament. The new Parliament is the property of our nation. This is not a personal event, it’s a function of our country. , said Deve Gowda.
“The new Parliament is build from the tax of all Indians .It is neither the office of BJP nor RSS.I will attend the event as a former PM and as an Indian “,he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new Parliament building, built as part of Central Vista on Sunday.
