Raipur: Two CRPF personnel were injured when an IED planted by maoists blew up in Bijapur district of Bastar. The blast took place during an inspection of communist militant hideout.
According to the sources, the incident took place around 10:30 am near Tekameta Hill under Gangloor police station limits, about 400 km from Raipur. The incident took place when the team was inspecting the area. The injured were immediately rushed to a hospital.
In April, communist terrorist had also triggered an IED blast in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district and ten security personnel and a driver were martyred. The incident took place under the limits of Arunpur police station where a team of police’s District Reserve Guard (DRG) were returning from an anti- communist anti- terror operation.
