MUMBAI: 20 kg of mephedrone and Rs. 1 crore were seized during the search conducted by the Mumbai Zonal Unit. Three guys have been detained by the police in relation to the incident. . Along with the narcotics and cash, expensive gold ornaments had been recovered from the accused.
Over the past several days, the NCB has increased its monitoring in Mumbai’s Dongri area. According to reports, 20kg of mephedrone were recovered in following numerous raids. The confiscated goods have a market value of Rs. 50 crore. Mephedrone is a highly addictive narcotic that is often referred to as “Meow Meow” or “MCAT” by drug users and dealers.
Additionally, during the operation, 186 gram of gold was found among the narcotics. According to the NCB, the money was made via selling the narcotics. The three suspects have allegedly been active in the drug trade for the past ten years, according to the NCB.
