The match commenced with Bangladesh winning the toss and electing to bat. The team’s batsmen displayed great determination and skill, particularly Najmul Hossain Shanto, who played a breathtaking innings that included a flurry of boundaries and elegant stroke play. His partnership with Hasan Joy, which contributed 212 runs before being dismissed, laid a solid foundation for Bangladesh’s formidable score.
