In a surprising move, the Community Development Society (CDS) has implemented a stringent measure by imposing fines on individuals belonging to Kudumbashree who did not attend the inaugural ceremony of Sports Minister Abdurahiman at the Punaloor Stadium. According to the CDS Chairperson, members of the non-participating groups will be obligated to pay a fine of Rs 100 before the next CDS meeting.
The enforcement of this penalty is due to the noticeably low turnout of neighborhood group members at the minister’s inauguration and related meetings held at the Punalur Indoor Stadium.
