The cricketing stalwarts took to social media to share their love for yoga and its profound impact on mental and physical well-being.
Virender Sehwag, renowned for his explosive batting as an opener, posted a video on his social media accounts showcasing his yoga skills. In the video, he could be seen performing the Headstand pose, with poise and balance. Alongside the video, Sehwag extended his wishes for a great International Day of Yoga, saying, “Wishing you a great #internationaldayofyoga.
Sehwag’s choice to demonstrate the challenging headstand highlighted his commitment to promoting physical fitness and overall well-being. By sharing his yoga practice, he aimed to inspire others to explore the benefits of incorporating yoga into their daily lives.
Joining Sehwag in commemorating International Yoga Day, Pragyan Ojha, a former Indian cricketer and Sehwag’s former teammate, shared a picture on Instagram of himself performing Vrikshasana, or the Tree Pose. Ojha emphasised the transformative impact yoga can have on an individual’s mental and physical health.
