New Delhi: Indian Super League (ISL) side Jamshedpur FC has officially announced the departure of four players – Ishan Pandita, Laldinliana Renthlie, Boris Singh, and Farukh Choudhary – as their contracts with the club have come to an end. These players have made significant contributions to the team during their tenure with the Men of Steel.

Ishan Pandita, Laldinliana Renthlie, Boris Singh, and Farukh Choudhary played pivotal roles in Jamshedpur FC’s successful campaign during the 2021-22 League Shield-winning season. Unfortunately, Farukh Choudhary was ruled out of that particular season due to a knee injury. However, his previous contributions and efforts were appreciated by the club.

Ishan Pandita, who joined Jamshedpur FC ahead of the ISL 2021-22 season, quickly rose through the ranks and showcased his goal-scoring prowess. The forward had previously received recognition during his time at FC Goa, earning the tag of ‘Super Cup.’ His impressive form during the latter stages of the season earned him a debut for the senior Indian national team. Throughout his time with the Men of Steel, the 25-year-old netted six goals in 36 appearances across all competitions.

Boris Singh and Farukh Choudhary bid farewell to Jamshedpur FC after completing their two-and-a-half-year stint with the club. Boris displayed exceptional versatility, contributing to the team’s success by playing in multiple positions. He made a total of 44 appearances for the Men of Steel across all competitions.

Farukh Choudhary made a return to Jamshedpur FC in January 2021 and made a significant impact during his stay. Although he missed the previous season due to a knee injury, he recovered and returned to the field this season, playing valuable minutes. In his second spell with the club, he made 26 appearances across all competitions, registering one goal and one assist.

Laldinliana Renthlie, better known as Dinliana, has been a constant presence at the back for Jamshedpur FC since his arrival in the summer of 2020. His remarkable talent and passion for the game made him a valuable asset to the club’s defensive line. Throughout his three-year spell with the Men of Steel, he made 56 appearances and provided two assists.
