New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Indian athletes who represented the country at the Special Olympics Summer Games held in Berlin. The athletes showcased exceptional talent and determination, bringing home an impressive total of 202 medals, including a remarkable 76 gold medals. The Prime Minister lauded their outstanding achievements, emphasizing the spirit of inclusivity and perseverance displayed by these extraordinary athletes.

India concluded the final day of the Games on a high note, bolstering their medal tally to an impressive 202 medals—76 gold, 75 silver, and 51 bronze. The athletes excelled in various disciplines, with the last set of medals coming from the athletics track, highlighting their versatility and prowess.

Expressing his pride and appreciation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of the Indian contingent. He tweeted, “Congratulations to our incredible athletes who represented India at the Special Olympics Summer Games in Berlin and won 202 medals, including 76 Gold Medals. In their success, we celebrate the spirit of inclusivity and applaud the perseverance of these remarkable athletes.”
