Neeraj’s return to competition was highly anticipated after an injury forced him to miss several events following his impressive victory at the Doha Diamond League in May. Fans and supporters eagerly awaited his comeback, and Neeraj did not disappoint. During the competition, Neeraj faced initial challenges as his first attempt went invalid, but he quickly found his rhythm. In his second attempt, he achieved a distance of 83.52 metres, which was a promising start. However, it was in his third attempt that Neeraj truly showcased his prowess, delivering an impressive throw of 85.04 metres. Although his fourth attempt was invalid, he regained his focus and unleashed his “gold arm” in the fifth attempt, soaring to a distance of 87.66 metres and securing his well-deserved victory. Neeraj’s sixth attempt resulted in a commendable throw of 84.15 metres.
