Mumbai: Cricket fans across India can rejoice as Doordarshan (DD) has announced that it will telecast India’s upcoming tour of the West Indies. The highly anticipated bilateral series, consisting of two Tests, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), is set to captivate audiences from July 12 to August 13.
DD Sports, along with its regional channels such as DD Podhigai, DD Saptagiri, DD Yadagiri, DD Bangla, and DD Chandana, will provide live coverage of the T20Is and ODI series in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Bangla, and Kannada. Meanwhile, the Test matches will be telecast exclusively on DD Sports. The primary telecast on DD Sports will feature a combination of Hindi and English commentary, catering to a diverse audience.
Cricket enthusiasts will have the opportunity to witness the brilliance of some of India’s top cricketers, including the likes of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The tour will also serve as a platform for promising young talents such as Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad to showcase their skills and make a mark in international cricket.
