Kollam: Man arrested for growing cannabis plant at home. Robin (33), a native of Kollam Mundakkal, was the arrested. His possession of 250 grams of cannabis were also seized. He was arrested during the inspection conducted by the Kollam Excise Special Squad Circle Inspector Tony Jose.
Small plastic covers used for the sale of cannabis and electronic weighing machines have been also taken into custody. Excise officials said that the punishment for cultivating cannabis plant is rigorous imprisonment up to 10 years and a fine of up to one lakh rupees.
