Thrissur: Fire breaks out at South Indian Bank ATM operating in Ollur’s Ramus Shopping Mall in Thrissur. The incident took place around 11 am today. The preliminary conclusion is that it is because of short circuit. The ATM machine was not damaged.
A fire brigade unit arrived from Thrissur and extinguished the fire completely. The batteries, control machines and related electrical equipment kept behind the ATM machine were completely burnt. A major disaster was avoided as the fire did not spread to the branch of South Indian Bank and other shops operating in the shopping mall.
