Multiple casualties have resulted from a chemical factory fire in Mohali, Punjab, with more than five individuals sustaining injuries. These injured individuals have received medical attention at the nearby Mohali Civil Hospital. The incident has mobilized a substantial response, with over 20 fire tenders converging on the site for the ongoing rescue operation. In addition, a dedicated medical team, equipped with an ambulance, has been dispatched to provide immediate medical care.
The surrounding area is currently shrouded in extensive black smoke, and accounts from eyewitnesses suggest that the fire was initiated by a minor explosion occurring around 11 a.m. today. The exact cause of the incident remains undetermined at this moment. Nevertheless, it is of significant concern that the individuals admitted to the hospital are reportedly in critical condition.
