New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has initiated a nationwide manhunt for three ISIS-linked terrorists and is offering a reward of Rs 3 lakh to anyone with information regarding individuals connected to the ISIS terrorist attack plan.
Intelligence officials have identified Mohammad Shanawaz, Abdullah, and Rizwan as members of an IS sleeper cell. The NIA has revealed that these individuals were involved in various activities aimed at spreading terror within the country, with the ultimate objective of establishing an Islamic state within its borders. Additionally, they were allegedly plotting to subvert the central government in accordance with the IS agenda.
Simultaneously, the Special Cell of the Delhi Police, in collaboration with other intelligence agencies, conducted secretive raids at more than 100 locations across the country last month in their pursuit of these fugitives.
