Kanyakumari: A doctor has been arrested by Kottar police on charges of allegedly subjecting a colleague to molestation. The arrest was made in response to a formal complaint lodged by a female doctor.
The incident took place at Kottar in Nagercoil. The complaint submitted to the police alleges that the accused had subjected the woman to constant molestation. In response to this complaint, the police initiated an investigation and subsequently took the accused into custody.
The female doctor who raised the complaint was earlier transferred from her position. Following his arrest, the accused doctor was brought to the Kottar police station and subsequently presented in court. The court has remanded the accused to custody for a period of 14 days.
