Kottayam: A class 10 student, who also serves as the class leader, was brutally assaulted by classmates. The incident took place at a private school in Kanjirappally. The victim, a class 10 student, had written a list of classmates who caused disruptions in the class.
The classmates, upon discovering their names on the list, became agitated and collectively attacked the student. They slapped him in the face and kicked the student while he was on the ground. The boy who was beaten up said that they threatened to stab him to death if he disclosed this matter. The student’s parents filed a complaint with the police. The student sought medical attention at Kanjirappally General Hospital due to experiencing considerable pain throughout the body. This is how the parents came to know about the incident.
