Thiruvananthapuram: An individual accused of abducting and torturing a minor girl under the pretext of marriage has been apprehended. The arrested person is Sudhi (23), a resident of Kilimanoor, who kidnapped the girl while her parents were away.
When the girl went missing, her parents filed a complaint with the Kilimanoor police. During the ensuing investigation, the girl was located at the accused’s house, thanks to a tip-off received by the district police chief.
Further investigation revealed that the accused had previously assaulted the girl. Under the leadership of DYSP Attingal, the accused was arrested, presented in court, and remanded in custody.
