Kottayam: A young man has gone missing after being swept away while bathing at the Elipulikkat ford in the Meenanthara River. Joel, from Kanjirappally, is missing. The incident occurred as Joel and two friends were enjoying a morning bath. Joel had come to a relative’s house to attend a wedding ceremony.
After their initial bath, the three returned to the riverbank. However, Joel went down to swim again, and he got caught in the river current. His friends called the fire brigade to search for him. The fire force, police, and locals reached the spot and started searching.
