Kochi: A complaint has been registered by Ernakulam RTO G Ananthakrishnan, reporting that he and his son suffered from food poisoning after consuming food at Hotel Aryaas. They are currently undergoing treatment for symptoms including diarrhoea and fever.

Health department officials from Thrikkakara municipality conducted an inspection at the Aryaas Hotel, situated on the Kakkanad Seaport-Airport Road. Following the inspection, the municipal health department ordered the temporary closure of the Aryaas Hotel and imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000.

Ananthakrishnan and his son partook in gheeroast, vada, and coffee at the hotel around 8 o’clock on Monday morning. By 10 o’clock, they began experiencing discomfort. Later in the evening, both fell ill and developed a fever, seeking medical attention at a private hospital in Ernakulam.
