Assault on car passenger; driver’s and conductor’s licenses suspended

Kozhikode: Action has been taken in the case involving the assault of a car passenger, who was stopped and beaten near road in Kuttoth recently. Vadakara’s Regional Transport Office (RTO) has suspended the licenses of the bus driver and conductor for one month in relation to this incident. The licenses of driver Lineesh and conductor Sreejith have been suspended.

Additionally, the driver has been instructed to attend a road safety class at the Drivers Institute in Edappal and obtain a certificate. The incident occurred on the 25th of this month when the assailants stopped the car and assaulted Sajid, a resident of Iringal.
