Two Tamil Nadu natives arrested for stealing luxury bikes

Thiruvananthapuram: Two persons from Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari district have been arrested in connection with the theft of luxury bikes from Thiruvananthapuram. Balaramapuram police apprehended Samuel Raj (18), a resident of Swamiyar Madam, Kanyakumari district, along with a minor. The pair stole two bikes from Balaramapuram on December 30. The primary accused in the case is currently absconding, and the police are actively searching for him.

The two persons were identified as natives of Tamil Nadu during the police investigation, which was based on the CCTV footage. Subsequently, they were apprehended with the help of the Tamil Nadu police. Law enforcement recovered the two stolen bikes from the residence of the accused. The perpetrators confessed to the police that they committed the theft in order to lead a luxurious life.

The accused were taken into custody under the leadership of SHO Vijayakumar and SI Anthony Joseph Neto. The SHO informed that the primary accused is absconding and will be arrested soon. The accused were produced before the court and remanded.
