Karnataka : Two days after HD Kumaraswamy declared that he would seek a trust vote, BJP insisted the government to prove its majority in the assembly today. Rebel MLAs on Monday submitted another letter to Mumbai Police citing threat from Congress leaders.
The letter is addressed to the Sr. Police inspector of Powai police station Mumbai. And it said, ” We the Respected Members Of Karnataka Assembly are currently staying at Renaissance Hotel Powai, would like to inform you that we have abasolutely no intentions in meeting Shri Mallikarnjun Kharge Ji or Gulam Nabi Azad ji or any congress dignitaries or functionaries from Maharashtra & Karnataka Congress team leader or any other political leader we anticipate serious threat from them. We here by request you to kindly make necessary arrangements to stop these people from meeting us in case the situation arises.”
