Ahmedabad: Reports say that Pakistani Army has deployed its Special Service Group (SSG) commandoes along the Sir Creek area in Gujarat. Sources in government say that these personnel could be used to carry anti-India activities.
The SSG commandoes are special operation forces of Pakistani Army tasked to carry out unconventional warfare. They have been deployed against India many times in times of war and in peacetimes.
After India scrapped Article 370, Pakistan Army has been trying to infiltrate terrorists across the LoC. Pakistani authorities and ISI are trying to unite the jihadists against India. Last week terrorist leaders and supporters staged an anti India protest outside Press Club in Muzaffarabad and called for jihad against India.
Pakistani Army is encouraging terror groups like Hizbul Mujahideen and United Jihad Council to fight India.
Military experts believe that deployment of SSG commandoes is another attempt to raise the heat in Kashmir by covert actions.
However, India is prepared for all contingencies and the security forces are on high alert.
