New Delhi: Former Finance Minister and the senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party Arun Jaitley died on Saturday at 12:07 pm.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and expressed his grief over the sad demise of Jaitley. He tweeted, ” With the demise of Arun Jaitley Ji, I have lost a valued friend, whom I have had the honour of knowing for decades. His insight on issues and nuanced understanding of matters had very few parallels. He lived well, leaving us all with innumerable happy memories. We will miss him!”

Arun Jaitley was admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi on August 9 and was undergoing treatment in the supervision of a multidisciplinary team of senior Doctors.
