Mysuru: A month after CCD founder VG Siddhartha’s demise, his father Gangaiah Hegde passed away on Sunday following a prolonged illness in Mysuru.
According to the relatives of the deceased, the cremation will take place in Chikmagalur on Monday.
Siddhartha went missing on July 29 from the Netravathi Bridge and was later found dead on the banks of Netravathi river near Hoige Bazaar in Mangaluru on July 31. When the country mourned Siddhartha’s death, his ailing father never knew that his son was no more.
According to reports Gangaiah Hegde started out as a coffee planter at an estate in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka.
