New Delhi: 30 years down the lane, on this very day the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leaders performed ‘shilanyas’ ceremony and laid foundation for a proposed grand temple next to the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya.
The Supreme Court verdict which is to be pronounced today has coincided with the foundation laying ceremony.
The court will deliver its verdict on a batch of petitions challenging September 30, 2010, Allahabad High Court order, which trifurcated the 2.77 acres disputed land between the Nirmohi Akhara, the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board and Ramlalla Virajman.
