New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)Chief Mohan Bhagwat hailed the Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya and said that the decision has given justice to the sentiments and faith of the people of the country.
“RSS welcomes this decision. The Supreme Court has given justice to the people’s sentiments, faith and belief,” said Bhagwat.
“The case went on for decades but now it has arrived at a conclusion. However, this should not be seen as a win or loss. We also welcome everyone’s efforts to maintain peace and harmony in society,” he added.
“Forgetting all the things that happened in past, we should all come together to build a grand temple at Ram Janma Bhoomi in Ayodhya,” said Bhagwat.
“Central government shall form in three to four months a scheme for setting up of a trust. They shall make necessary arrangements for the management of trust and construction of the temple,” Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said while reading out the verdict.
