New Delhi: Before the presentation of the Union Budget 2020-21 in the Parliament today, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her deputy Anurag Thakur met President Ram Nath Kovind.
Thakur told news agency ANI, “The Modi government believes in ‘sabka sath, sabka vikas.’ We received suggestions from across the country. The government has made efforts to ensure that this Budget will be good for all, good for the people and the country.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah has already arrived in the Parliament.
The printed copies of the Union Budget 2020-21 have also been brought to the Parliament.
The session will begin at 11 am today.
