New Delhi: India has responded to the reference of Kashmir made in the Turkey- Pak joint declaration in harsh words. External affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar told “India rejects all references to Jammu and Kashmir, which is an integral and inalienable part of India”.
Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdoagn supported Pakistan on the Kashmir issue while he was addressing a joint session of Pak parliament. Erdogan expressed his support by saying,”Today, the issue of Kashmir is as close to us as it is close to you”. Erdogan extended his support to Pakistan and added, ” Like in the past, we will continue to support Pakistan in the future”.
India has sharply criticized Erdogan and has issued a terse message over his provoking and inappropriate statement on Kashmir issue.”We call upon the Turkish leadership to not interfere in India’s internal affairs and develop proper understanding of the facts, including the grave threat posed by terrorism emanating from Pakistan to India and the region”, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar responded.
The annoying statement from the Turkish Prez has come out when India is paying tributes to the martyred soldiers of the Pulwama attack. India observed the first anniversary of the deadliest Pulwama attack last day. Pakistan’s Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist drove an explosive laden vehicle into a convoy of vehicles carrying paramilitary troops in Kashmir’s Pulwama district at 3 pm on 14 February last year. 44 CRPF personnel were killed and 20 others were injured in the attack. India has responded to Pak’s heinous attack on February 27. Many terrorists including their leaders were killed when India struck the biggest training camp of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Balakot.
