New Delhi : The reports stated a decline in the rate of air pollution in Delhi. The last day air quality benchmark index (AQI) reached 366. Last week it was topping, a deadly score of 401. The increase in the wind speed is the reason for the decrease in pollution said the National Pollution Control Board officials.
The early morning wind breeze seems blowing quite strongly which helped in reducing the smoke and dust in the atmosphere, said the System of Air Quality Forecasting and Research. PM 2.5 that affects lungs was 215 last day, and the level of the PM 10 remained level 370.
