Mangaluru: A man who was admitted to the isolation ward of a hospital with symptoms of coronavirus has allegedly escaped, sources said. He had arrived at the airport from Dubai on Sunday.
As soon as he arrived at the airport with a few symptoms of coronavirus and high fever was shifted to the district Wenlock hospital.
He reportedly argued with the hospital staff late in the night that he had not contracted the virus and left the hospital saying he will take treatment in a private hospital.
Followed by his escape, the police has sounded a high alert in coastal districts to locate the person.
