New Delhi: The public seems to be sitting idle and bored after the country is on a 21-day lockdown due to pandemic COVID-19. The public thus demanded to re-telecast the “Ramayan” serial made by Ramanand Sagar.
On Friday, Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar tweeted the announcement of retelecast of the serial from March 28.
“Happy to announce that on public demand, we are starting retelecast of ‘Ramayana’ from tomorrow, Saturday March 28 in DD National, One episode in morning 9 am to 10 am, another in the evening 9 pm to 10 pm,” he said.

It’s quite an interesting announcement as the serial was a huge success and people still cherish those times back when they used to watch it without fail.
