Agra: The new epicentre of the coronavirus, Tablighi Jamaat event, has created a panic among all citizens. Six more people who attended the vent have tested positive for coronavirus in Agra, taking the total number to 10.
“28 people attended Tablighi Jamaat congregation from Agra. We have received reports of 6 people who have been tested positive,” said Agra District Magistrate Prabhu N Singh.
Several such cases across India have connection with the gathering, including deaths in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana.
With 53 deaths, the country has 2,069 positive cases, 1,860 active cases while 156 have been cured or discharged.
