Ghaziabad: Ghaziabad SSP has informed that an FIR has been registered against persons from Tablighi Jamaat who are in quarantine at MMG District Hospital.
“An FIR has been registered on a complaint that patients admitted at hospital’s (MMG District Hospital) isolation ward were misbehaving with hospital staff. It has been directed to ensure fair investigation in the matter,” said Kalanidhi Naithani, SSP Ghaziabad.
Tablighi Jamaat patients allegedly made vulgur signs and roamed nude inside the hospital. Following the incident Ghaziabad CMO, wrote a letter to the local police saying that the Tablighi Jamaat Markaz event attendees, who have been put under observation at the Ghaziabad hospital, have been misbehaving with the hospital staff.
“The Jamaati patients put under observation for suspected coronavirus infection at the hospital’s isolation ward have been roaming around without their pants, nude, and listening to vulgar songs,” the Ghaziabad’s MMG District Hospital CMO said.
The CMO also claimed that these patients were asking for cigarettes from the housekeeping staff and making vulgar signs at nurses. “In such circumstances, it is difficult to treat these patients,” the senior medical official said.
