New Delhi: With 1,035 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, total number of cases surged to 7,447 in the country.
“A total of 1,035 COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the country to 7,447. There were 40 deaths during this period, taking the total toll to 239,” the Health Ministry said.
“642 people have been cured of the disease and India’s response to coronavirus has been proactive,” said Joint Secretary Lav Aggarwal.
