New Delhi: The suspended AAP councillor Tahir Hussain has been booked under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in a case pertaining to the Delhi riots that took place in February on Wednesday.
Hussain was earlier arrested for the brutal killing of Intelligence Bureau official Ankit Sharma during the riots in northeast Delhi.
Police has also arrested former Congress councillor Ishrat Jahan and activist Khalid Saifi for their involvement in the case during the riots, said a lawyer.
Two students of the Jamia Millia has also been booked under UAPA who are currently in the custody, for their master plan behind inciting violence.
