New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday expressed his deepest gratitude to the soldiers who lost their lives in an encounter with terrorists in Handwara on Saturday.
He bowed to the soldiers and security personnel saying that the nation will always remain indebted to their supreme sacrifice.
“I bow to our soldiers and security personnel martyred while protecting our motherland during an encounter with terrorists in Handwara in Jammu and Kashmir. Nation will always remain indebted to their supreme sacrifice. My deepest condolences to their bereaved families,” he tweeted.

In the encounter, two terrorists were also neutralized by the army. One among them was a top LeT Commander Haider from Pakistan.
