Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Tuesday refused to hold back Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami from anchoring until pendency of several cases filed against him over the debate on Palghar mob lynching incident.
The leaders and workers of the Congress party had filed complaints against him alleging that he made inflammatory statements during his debate show on Palghar lynching case.
The court also refused to pass any order to name others in the Republic TV management as accused in the cases and observed that the investigating agency will investigate the matter and decide on who should be included in the chargesheet.
The petition is put pending by the HC, waiting for the apex court to take a decision on the case.
