New Delhi: India recorded a spike of 3,525 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the total tally of positive cases to 74,281 on Wednesday, said Ministry of Health.
The tally is inclusive of 47,480 patients who are active coronavirus cases and 24,385 patients who have been cured/discharged and one patient migrated.
Also about 122 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 2,415.
Maharashtra has been severely affected with the pandemic. The state has recorded 24,427 positive cases that includes 5,125 patients recovered and 921 fatalities.
