New Delhi: India recorded its biggest single-day jump of coronavirus cases after 5,611 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Thus India’s tally of COVID-19 cases reached 1,06,750 on Wednesday.
Also 140 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
Out of the total cases, 61,149 are active cases and 42,298 patients have been cured/discharged/migrated.
Maharashtra has recorded the maximum of 37,136 cases followed by Tamil Nadu with 12,448 cases.
