Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday arrived in Bhubaneswar Airport. He was received by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Governor Ganeshi Lal on his arrival.
Like in West Bengal, Prime Minister will be conducting an aerial survey of the areas also in cyclone affected parts of Odisha.
After the survey in West Bengal, a financial aid of Rs 1000 crore was allocated by the Central governement for immediate assistance to West Bengal. Rs 2 lakh would be given to the next of kin of the persons deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the persons who got seriously injured due to Cyclone Amphan in parts of West Bengal, announced the Prime Minister.
